Multi talented in the fields of music and art,  Amia Franz (also known as AMIA facebook.com/amiafranzmusic singer, writer, music producer  gutarist)  is the owner and "soul" artist for her company Divine Artistic Designs, which has been in business  since 1999. Amia Franz (the visual artist),  has a B.A. degree in Graphic Design and fine arts, and is highly skilled at painting on just about anything! From  painting murals on walls, wall faux finishes, on canvas and board, to referbishing and creating garden and commercial sculptures, Amia loves discussing projects with clients to come up with carefully hand painted original visions for residential as well as Commercial clients.  She works primarily on interior projects creating on just about any size project, condition,  and in just about any style or medium.  Her style specialties are,  realism, contemporary realism, fantasy and abstract designs.

 

Amia's  very detailed approach paintings,  are created using non- toxic paints and painting mefiums. Her faux finishes include color washing, ragging, strie, two way strie, wood graining, smooth or sand texturing, crackle, glazing, metalics etc.,  textured stone  (any kind including granite,  marble, stucco, brick, plaster etc.), Wall Paper Replication (including  her own unique designs, design replication using hand created stencils and she can match a clients own ideas and replicate them with right colors and patterns required with an expert eye). Commissions with residential and commercial clients,  can varry. Some clients, will have a specific  design, a basic idea or have no idea of what would be best for their project. 

 

Amia has been very successful at meeting her clients needs and often going beyond their exprctations!  "My goal for every client project, is to create somehing unique while capturing the vision the client wants. It's not just about me and ideas I can bring to the project, but how our ideas meet the clients expectations or specific vision without my visual interferenace. It's about what I love best about visual  art work, It's about delving deep into the imagination"

Leading up to 1999 when Divine Artistic Designs  began creating projects in 1999, while studying at the university level, Amia won top student llustration advertisement award recognition, but her greatest achievment, leading up to the present,  is being recognized for her devotion to creative painting excellenc, by her clients,  and the joy she tries to bring to the process of creating."

"I create for client smiles, especially kids!  Some of my fondest commissions, have been  createing murals for residential clients nurseries and kids rooms.  I was commissioned by the Lake County  Illinois Museum, "Mall Of History" mural project.  When I discussed the vision for that mural with the curator, I was given total freedom, to come up with a kids intereactive mural. I got to be around all these exhibits, taking painting breaks to read and learn about Lake county history!" 

 

In 2023, after the Covid setback, Amia currently is back at designing and painting, She is the resident graphic and fine artist at the www.edenhealthshop.com. It is a health store, with certified health coaching provided by James Franz, healthy smoothies, , health drinks, vegan and  chicken sandwhiches , and lettuce  wraps. Amia designed and created the store logo, the murals, and helps James decide on advertizing images, and is the spokes model for Eden Health Shop!

 

"I love talking to James about projects he needs done and accassionally get commissions from customers. I also love how customers regulary comment about how peaceful and friendly the store is. We all can use as much of that as we can get, and I get to work in a place that takes me away from the complicated world we all find ourselves in now."
